Question:

*IF* Trig Palin is really Sarah Palin's grandson, does she have any credibility at all on moral issues?

There is a rumour spreading throughout the Internet that Sarah Palin's newborn son is in fact her grandson, the son of Palin's 17-year-old daughter, Bristol.

For the story in more detail, see the following links...

To summarize:

-Sarah only announced her pregnancy on March 6th, claiming she was 7-months pregnant. Her aides and coworkers were shocked as she certainly didn't appear pregnant at all. On April 18th, newspaper reports said Trig Palin was born a month premature yet still weighed over 6 pounds.

-Sarah's daughter Bristol, 17, had been taken out of her high school for 5-8 months citing Mono. Yet during this period Bristol was pulled over 3 times for driving violations. More recent pictures of Bristol show her wearing what may be a wedding ring.

-There is a lot of pictures and video as well as a lot of other circumstantial evidence in the links above that would seem to suggest that Trig is actually Bristol's son, not Sarah's as she claims.

So.. IF this is true (and it may be a big if)...

a) At first glance, is it any of our business?

b) If Sarah Palin would concoct such an elaborate fabrication to cover up the incident, does anyone want her as VP? What else would she be willing to lie about?

c) It would seem that her reason for the lie would be on religious grounds. Is this a good VP?

d) If she's protecting her own political career, is Bristol not now suffering for her mother's ambition? How many other unwed teenage mothers have this much scrutiny? Isn't Sarah being a bad mother?

  1. Yes, I would be concerned she was willing to propagate such an elaborate lie, when really, who cares about unwed teenage mothers. They are everywhere.

I wouldn't vote for them anyway though.

  2. My mom was 7 months pregnant before she knew I was on the way.  She didn't beieve her Doctor and went to two others for a second opinion.  Here I am.  It happens.

  3. I realize you are saying ,"IF", but still one must take into consideration the sources of this information, the reasons it has just now come to the forefront and why it is important.

Firstly, the source is 'iffy' at best. A child with downs disease comes mostly in one from older parents, not younger ones. Sarah Palin has made many enemies with her cleaning up the corruption in her state, as well as the oil companies that have been fined because of their corruption and greed.

Now, 'if' they were true, #1, it would show that she is a protective mother who is willing to take the scrutiny and blows from her opponents who would attack her because of taking this action, #2, it shows a loyalty to family, not the sign of a 'bad mother', #3, if it was her daughter's that would make her a mother of a daughter who made a mistake, not a bad mother, and lastly, it shouldn't be any of anybodies business.

The media will find any number of "problems" with one they do not approve of. They are presently "in bed" with Obama, so no one else is worthy of anymore that their scorn and gile.

  4. To be fair, I've seen some unbelievably thin pregnant people and I could hardly tell they were "with child".  I saw a girl who was 6 months along and I wasn't even aware until she told me.  But the rest of the circumstances are very curious indeed...

  5. Some people have justified this apparent lie as "protecting her daughter" which may be a point until it comes to falsifying public records and getting a doctor you have appointed to state government to lie for you. In fact, wasn't she involved in another investigation about using the power of public office to intervene in family affairs? Makes me wonder what else she might do with the Vice Presidency in her hands, or god forbid, the Presidency!

  6. And now the campaign is saying that Bristol is pregnant. One of two things will happen 1) She will have an "unfortunate" miscarriage or 2) a hush-hush adoption will take place as there is NO DOUBT that Trig is her grandson.  I live in Alaska and this is a rumor that has been around since she got "suddenly" got pregnant.  A rumor I believe is true.  Trig is definitely Palin's grandson.  Either way, since she can't control her family, she can't lead the country.

  7. and let the conspiracy theories begin

  8. Ha.  Yes, I have seen that, too.  It's called, "Democrats Grasping, Hoping to Find Something Immoral About A Candidate They Fear."

Just to shake up a little bit of that common sense that I know you all have someplace deep inside those little pea brains of yours...

    1)  A working woman, especially one in a political position of power, does not make such an announcement until she absolutely has to!!  She wants to keep all eyes focused on the business at hand...not how she's dealing with morning sickness.

    2)  A woman over 40 is 1000 times more likely to give birth to a baby with Downs, than a girl of 17.  In fact, in a girl of 17, it is so rare, it's hardly measurable.

    3)  Do you really believe there is some 'great cover up conspiracy' going on when she didn't even know she was being considered for VP at the time?

    4)  How LOW do the democrats have to stoop, to start flinging mud at a CHILD...in this case, BRISTOL.

    GROW UP!!

  9. Any mother who has stated unequivocally she would force her daughters to carry a pregnancy to term, even as a result of rape or incest, does NOT need to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency of the United States of America, IMO.  So I, for one, would like to see this proven or disproven (birth certificate, hospital records, etc...), without any doubt left to the imagination.

  10. Great.  Internet rumors. I have some too.

Don't forget, Obama is a Muslim.

  11. First of all, older mothers are not 1000 times more likely to have a child with Down Syndrome than younger mothers.  In fact, a woman over age 45 has a 95% chance of NOT having a baby with DS .  Another fact: most children with DS are born to mothers under age 35, simply because there are more women under 35 having children than any other age group.

I believe Palin is claiming that Bristol is 5 months pregnant because Trig is 4 months old.  If Trig were 2 months old, she'd claim Bristol was 3 months along.  They need just enough time to pretend that Bristol hasn't given birth this year already.  I predict that Palin will next claim that Bristol has suffered a miscarriage.  Of course, we will be told to respect the family's privacy during this tragic time.  And Sarah Palin will go on to raise her grandson as her own, so that she can stay on her little conservative pedestal.

  12. leArn 2 spelL iT arE Horendous

    -gram cracker popo oink oink

  13. Being a protective parent is not a vice. I would kill for my kids if I had to, although I would do anything else to avoid it.

Basically this is bashing a woman, that's all.

I saw a Youtube video that has a guy saying he had oral s*x with Obama and smoked crack with him. Until I see other sources, it is a rumor, and an internet rumor also.

  14. It's been my observation that the most "moral" and conservative people tend to be the most hypocritical. But that's just from what I've seen or read. They have a longer way to drop it appears, since they put themselves up so high above others.
