  1. yes i think that a pitcher as a batter is outragious. DHs are there for a reason, as a designated hitter, to often come in and bat, but pitchers shouldnt bat as then they have to go back out the next inning and pitch. o and all pitchers in the NL will walk a batter before the pitcher because pitchers cant hit very well. well most of them cant, carlos is different, but its so cheap

  2. DH for both. I love baseball, I have been following it for 20+years. I still have to force myself to go to a NL game, it is just boring as c**p, i am sorry but if you cant admit that it is called denial. Game on the line bases loaded & who walks up Big Papi, holy c**p stop what you are doing & come watch this! _OR_ Now batting Josh Beckett...come on real "strategy" is trying to figure out how to get a good hitter out, not trying to get around this hitter so i can get an easy out from the pitcher.

  3. Junk the DH - it diminishes coaching and player performance.

  4. pitchers should bat. i mean if they're in the field they should also have to bat.

  5. Get rid of the DH. It that takes all the strategy out of a game other than the occassional pitcher/hitter matchup.

  6. What a mind numbing question!

    NO to the DH.

    1. Major league baseball existed for almost 100 years before the abominable DH rule was instigated in the "poor, down trodden" AL's attempt to invigorate AL attendance by scoring more runs.

Well duh?, Your teams score more, but so do the other AL teams.

Change in the standings? Of course not.

Just .4 more runs scored by each team per game. BIG DEAL

    The DH isn't worth it.

The AL winds up with an old folks home for aging and/or incompetent fielding stars to "improve" their offense.

    What a joke.

  7. No DH,  that's the way the game is supposed to be played.  The DH takes a huge amount of strategy out of the game.

  8. I Would Make Pitchers Bat.

I Find it Unfair that the David Ortiz's of the World Can't Field Because of the DH Rule.

  9. I'm in favor of both having the same thing. If I were to choose, I'd get rid of the DH. Having your pitchers bat puts strategy into the game. The DH eliminates that strategy for the AL teams.

  10. get rid of the DH i HATE THEM there just pussys who can hit thats all they are
