IF YOU OWNED A POOL, and someone left a baggy on your door and inside of it there were:?

An advertisement with a few coupons for the company pool service, an interesting monthly newsletter attached, and a complimentary beach ball with the company logo on it, would you:

A. = Dig inside to see what the goodies are and possibly call for more info?

B. = Throw it out and consider it garbage

C. = Fill in the Blank

Thanks, I am planning on opening a pool company and want to see if these extra's would actually help pick up new customers.

It is either this, or just send out the plain old letter in the mail, which would still include the ad, and a newsletter. Thanks : )

If it looked like an ad and I couldn't immediately see that there was a beach ball in it I'd just toss it out.  If I could tell the beach ball was there I'd dig that out, and probably at least read the ad.  If I liked my current pool company I'd probably toss it, but if I didn't or if I didn't even have a pool company and wanted one I might you this company a try.  Its certainly better than a plain old letter, which I would toss immediately, but it may take alot of beach balls to get just a few more customers.

If you use the same company name that you use for a Y! Answers ID, I would look at either.

hey - I thought of an idea how  you can find out who has pools in the neighborhoods you're looking at so you don't have to put it on peoples doors that don't have a pool & waste your advertising.  Microsoft Virtual Earth is a mapping program that you can type in an adress and get a 'birds eye view' of the streets - and you can see who has a pool & who doesn't.

to answer your question - I would probably read it & give the kids the ball but we don't have a pool :(

I don't allow solicitation.....so wouldn't see it.
