Question:

IF someone is on probation and can't pay back restitution & they voilate themselves once they serve....?

there sentence & they have other pending charges for something different, can you still work with law enforement to give the state substancal evidence or are you not allowed because of previous charges.

  1. This question really needs the advice of a Lawyer  It isn't in the best interests to ask this question here.

    In Canada, you cannot work with law enforcement unless you have been properly pardoned and your criminal record sealed.  I am sure it is the same in the US.  Most of our laws are based on the US judicial system.

    If someone wants to "violate" themselves then they should do it in private.  Like patty h said...don't do it in public.


  2. your question is all over the place but you can't serve your probation until you've paid your restitution, period.  

  3. If you violate yourself in the privacy of your bedroom, no one will have an issue with it.  

    But if you do it in public you will be brought up on charges of public indecency.

  4. nope....they are VERY strict with that kind of thing. Unfortunately that will count against the person.
