*IF* the NFL allowed the Super Bowl champs to play the Grey Cup champs and *IF* the Grey Cup team won...?

The 1st 1 is the most likely since it might have a possible chance of being true, but if it happened i'd be really happy to the Canadian players who went into insurmountable odds against a team who should massacre them and came out victorious

I agree with Puck, however if they did it this year Kerry Joseph would need a better game than he had in the grey cup.  Seems to me that some of the Flutie led champs of the past would have been competitive.

It really doesn't matter... The 2 games, though both called football, are completely different... It'd be like a baseball team playing cricket... No matter how good they were at baseball, they'd lose at cricket...

The number of players, man-in-motion rules, number of downs, field/end zone size, goal post location make the CFL very different from the NFL...

I think if you give a CFL team an extra down they would go nuts on offense scoring like mad.  If they played by Canadian rules, how many interceptions would there be because the NFL QB missed that extra DB?  Remind you of Dinwiddy?  Nevermind the number of offsides because of the motion rules here.

If they made it a half and half game I think the CFL would win the game.   Where the CFL would struggle is dealing with the bigger linemen on O and D.   But then good coaches would be able to devise systems to over come that.  Especially on a bigger field.

It won't ever happen Bill.  The NFL has nothing to gain and everything to lose.

The american media & football owners(for the money guys)  would say the american/ CFL blast BUT true NFL players and fans(for the love of da game guys)would welcome the Challenge / Rivary  as the opening up of american football to the WORLD( picture Manchester   Crowns(made up team ) vs NY giants in SUPER BOWLor Insert future big game name here).
