  1. Well with Carnival you can do name changes free of charge if you are 75 days or more away from your sail date or if your reservations have not been ticketed yet. If you are within 60 days then one name change start from $50 per person. If you booked the air with carnival too thats a whole other charge for doing changes within 60 days. Since u booked through Expedia they might also have different policies when it comes to name changes. Check directly with Expedia as soon as possible if u have to do a change.

  2. Generally at least one passenger name can not be changed and that is the first passenger.  Change fees may be assessed by the cruise line but more importantly is if you booked through a online agency or travel agency.  They may have a fee for any changes you make.  Many of the large online agencies such as Expedia, Travelocity and larger online cruise agencies will charge a change fee on top of any fees that may be charges by the cruise line.  Before you book you should always check the terms and conditions.

Did you know that Expedia and other large online travel agencies charge a booking fee.  By booking with a smaller agency online or local you may find these fees are waived and the price is the same.  A great company to work with is B.C. Travel Company (bctravelcompany.com), there are no agency fees to make change your reservation and no agency fee to cancel before final payment.  Plus they often offer special booking incentive such at Onboard credit that is better than what you can get through the larger agencies and the service is great.
