IF you could go back to cave man days what cave or where would u be living n doing?

I'd pick the south of Spain or France & start looking for Iron or copper deposits.  Then I'd start looking for a way to build a billows & forge.  One of my favorite lines of study is the Neandertal... I'd find out how expansive their speach & cognitive powers were, then "invent the alphabet" to see how much of a bootstrap I could provide humanity.

They didn't all live in caves, some lived in tents and huts.  It is even possible that some built permanent houses because there is a wall somewhere that may be that old.  I have read that some caves were used for over a hundred thousand years.  You might be interested in reading "Clan of the Cave Bears."  A series of books about that time period or around thirty thousand years ago.  I believe France had some good caves.

If I can bring modern technology with me, then anywhere warm where humans lived. I would live like a god with my magical devices I'd bring back.

If I went without modern technology, I find where the easiest accessible tin mines were, trade for some copper and make the first bronze weapons. Again, this would make me the most powerful individual in that time period.
