  5. It would have to be Ali for me.He seems very charismatic and a true gentleman.

  6. Three guys come immediately to mind for me.

Rocky Mariano.  I always admired Rocky and his fierce determination to win.  He never bragged and was truly old school in the way he was brought up.  And he was truly a good fellow and a gentleman.

Alexis Arguello.  Alexis was one of the classiest men to ever step into a ring.  He was always gracious and good natured.  Not only a great fighter, but class personified.

Joe Louis.  Joe carried himself with humility and acted the way a true champion should in every way.  He was not only looked up as a role model for blacks, but whites as well.

  7. Its got to be Ali, the man is a legend

  8. It would be Joe Louis, or Evander Hollyfield. Louis for having the most defences and Hollyfield for regaining the  title the most... But Both for being Great ambassadors for the sport of Boxing..

  13. Mohamed Ali without a doubt

  14. Marciano, the real legend, Ali was good but stayed to long sadly hence the way he is, but i would give him a big hug anyway

  15. I'll like to meet Oscar De La Hoya my favorite active boxer. He is a smart man inside and outside the ring. He always gives people what they paid to see. I will also like to meet Sal Sanchez, too bad he died at such a young age. Nearly 10,000 people attended his funeral.

  16. I have already met my childhood hero once but I would love to meet him again.  When I was 9, my mom knew someone connected with Deer Lake camp.  We went there and there were a bunch of kids running around.  Ali seemed 10ft tall.  He extended his hand and I hid behind my mom.

Later I saw him playing on the mats with other kids and I felt  ''I wanna play too''.  I remember seeing Larry Holmes there.  He was sparring.  An old man said to one of the women there  "Ma'am, you're looking at the next heavyweight champ of the world".  A kid in the crowd said  ''He cant beat Ali!".  Little did anyone know they would fight years later.

Ali was just like a normal person.  He was very friendly and didnt seem to behave like a typical famous person.  He was as normal as can be.  Its an experience I wont soon forget.  I have met other famous people.  Working for Atlantic City Magazine I have had the chance to see 5 of Tyson's fights live.  I've met him numerous times.

Still my meeting Ali was special in a way I could never compare with any other experience.

  17. Daniel Mendoza, heavyweight champ from the 1700's.

back then boxing was still a a mix of boxing, wrestling takedowns and 'dirty tactics'.

I have always wanted to know what this forgotten era of original boxing actually looked like as a style.

I have a feeling it would in fact look very much like our UFC matches between strikers.

  18. I wouldn't sway world champion, although he will be one soon if he keeps up the good work..Amir Khan!!

  19. The greatest of all time Muhammed Ali

  20. only one ALI

and i would ask him If you was in your Prime how fast he would drop Tyson

  21. alio he is the all time world best. and floyd mayweather hes is the best right now

  22. Ive met quit a few of my big heros such as Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and Lennox Lewis but the one that stands out for me was meeting Joe Frazier i didnt get long to talk too him but just being in his presence was enough for me, what a warrior.

  23. rocky :)

  24. The Big Hurt" Frank Thomas

In my late childhood-early teens, he was my baseball idol as a die-hard White Sox fan. He sure isn't the funniest, most charismatic or inspiring baseball player ever, but you can never deny the chance to sit and eat lunch with your childhood hero. He has had almost single-handedly as a player make me the fan of the game I am today.

I also would enjoy to hear some great stories from around the White Sox organization.

Second place: Ozzie Guillen. Haha man he can make you laugh in a snap and was a pretty good player himself. He sure would have some awesome stories (plus profanity!!!) to tell. And also it would be interesting to sit down and eat with the manager of your favorite team. See what he thinks about the organization and whatnot.

  25. Larry Holmes.  Out of my 3 favorites, he's the one that had to work to get where he was rather than relying on supreme athletic talents.  He had the most to overcome.

I'm curious Untouchable, who would you like to meet?

  26. THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ALI! ALI! ALI!
