IKEA Furniture problem is it just me?

Ok well about 2 or 3 years ago my parents let me pick out my furniture at Ikea and it was cheap.

It was less then $625 but that was because the bedroom set I wanted was out of stock so we would have to wait a long time.

My furniture was like a light brown fake wood with that plastic on the drawers and wardrobe that are with lines.

My dad took me out of the bedroom that was upstairs and into the basement which he finished half which was my room and it looks cool and its bigger.

Well when it was not even 6 months old the front of my bed broke and and my dad fixed it but it still looks broke.

And my chest broke all the drawers almost after my bed.

And then about or year or so ago my bed broke again and its fixed.

My parents think its all my fault its not although I do yell at them because there made out of *.

Did this happen to you if so tell me why?

  1. 1. It's plastic and cheap, so you got what you paid for. Usually there's a warranty of about 90 days on cheap things, so you can't hold Ikea or the manufacturer responsible anymore since it's been so long.

    2. You're obviously jumping into your bed and slamming your drawers shut after you get something out of them.

I agree with your parents -- it's you.

  2. cheap furniture has two definitions

    low cost

    low quality
