  1. Are you planning on keeping the baby? I'm just wondering. And also most doctors dont require parents to be there. If you go to a clinic and ask to keep it confidencial they have to.

  2. Yes the doctor can tell how far along you are in weeks. And as far as the doctor and insurance and parents thing go. I hardly dought it being they would have to be the ones to sign the papers and stuff. If you are under 18 years old those type of papers always ask for a parent or quardian's signature if under 18.

    Hope I helped

    GOOD LUCK

  3. If you see the doc with your parent's insurance card, they will know within a few days because they will get an insurance statement saying you went to the doctor.  If they run a pregnancy test, it will show up on the statement.

Depending on how far along you are, they may do an ultrasound which is the only way to tell you how far along you are.

  4. Okay so I'm 17 and I got pregnant when I was 15 as well.

Yes, the doctor can tell how many weeks the baby is, its pretty cool actually.

You probably should tell your parents, do you want the baby to grow up on the street if you run away?

Just tell them that its already happened, and yea you made a mistake, but you can't change it (unless your for abortion, though I'm not) and that its just something you have to deal with for now. They can either embrace the fact that there's a new life coming and or not.  If not, then find a family member who can take you and your little one in.

  7. OMG! I am in the same situation! im me at Caasss11794@aol.com

or email me at Cassie11794@yahoo.com... we can talk good luck

  8. dont run away like all parents they will get mad and it will last for a couple of months then they will spoil that baby. learn a lesson from this and please protect yourself next time you have s*x . your insurance will work but dr womt see you without parents your 15

  9. The insurance may not pay for it all, and your parents will receive a bill. But yes, you can go without them, they won't get the information for a few days afterwards..

  10. It depends on where you're from if you are required to have a parent present. Not telling them is the worst thing that you can do tell them. And please don't run away, you'll need their help. They will be the only ones to help you in this case.

  11. I know most doctors require a parent be present with a minor even without insurance.  You can go to a Planned Parenthood or Health Dept if you have one.  As long as you are planning to keep the baby and not abort I will not criticize you at all.  The doctor can tell you how far you are.  If you know the date of the first day of your last period you can count the weeks starting from that day.  If you are unsure, they will probably do an ultrasound to see.  GOOD LUCK!

P.S- Go ahead and tell your parents, you really need to.
