IM 15 and I want to become a stockbrocker and I want to start learning about it early, how do I go about this?

  1. Are you looking for good colleges to prepare you for it or books?  You can  learn to trade stocks and other securities from a lot of books (just visit your local library).

    What kind of stockbroker do you mean?  Most large banks will only recruit for traders straight from college (the ones seen in the Pursuit of Happyness) from elite schools.  The really big banks and brokerage houses hire about 80% of their employees from top schools.  It sounds like you're pretty ambitious and want to hit the ground running.  A top undergraduate business school will not only teach you the skills needed with solid finance courses but also put you in good standing to receive interviews from such places since those companies will interview on campus.  In several cases, employers now value degrees from elite schools as much as MBAs which opens doors in getting hired.  Other top tier schools will also offer interviews (think Ivy League, Big Ten, etc) but may not prepare you as well.
