  1. Go to Disney Land,,it is really fun there

for me,,i like shopping there,,n cafes,,n there french restaurants ,,,oh ya dnt miss Pizza Pino

  2. You're in FREAKIN' PARIS and you're bored, I'm freakin' astounded.  What exactly are you interested in?  You must have had some ideas about Paris before going.  Get yourself to a tourist information kiosk/bureau, or even ask at your hotel/hostel, for information.

Get out on the streets, watch the people, take a cruise on the Seine, visit the Catacombs, walk along the Canal St Martin, go to the market and try out new food, sit in a cafe and just chill, got out to La Defense andVillette (sp?) and look at the new architecture.

OMG wish I was there instead of sitting at home typing this!!!

  3. Go see Mulan Rouge. I really wanted to but I did not get a chance to get that way. Also Paris has night life.  If you have nice clothes and some money try and look up what the best night life is. I was only in Paris for 2 days but simply loved it.  I know there has to be awesome things to do while there.

  4. If you're of legal drinking age in your home country, you could take a day trip to the Champagne region.  The tour I'm taking in September stops in Reims and Epernay and includes a tasting.  Check www.aparistour.com

  5. I just got back from there. have you been to the jewish district? thats real neat you should check that out. also if you havnt taken that boat ride thing yet you should ifs diffent to see all the old men in thongs and topless women just laying there on the side on the water.. not the best sight but whatever.......  BUT BOY! the besstttt thing is the catacobes ya no them under ground tunnels with all the bones lining the walls. that is sweet. go there!

  6. YOU FOOL JUST LOOK OUT YOUR WINDOW GO FOR A WALK! you will find something Paris is full of everything! go to the champs-elysees, Moulin Rouge, a cafe, a bar, shopping be a little more creative...

  7. Why don't you go out to clubs? There are all kinds for all tastes from large discos to tiny bars with live music, from chanson française or jazz to rock or house-techno, you'll find everything. If you like old time jazz the atmosphere at the historic Caveau de la Huchette (5 rue de la Huchette in the 5th district) is always good.

You can go on a bike tour, those are fun :

But mostly Paris is to be enjoyed for its street life. Just walk in the Latin Quarter, the St-Germain des prés districts, along the Seine, outside the Pompidou center, etc and there will be street performers everywhere. People watching from a terrace of a café or the banks of the river, window shopping, outdoor markets, sunbathing along the Seine, that's also what Paris is about.

Here are more things to do in Paris this summer (2 pages, don't miss the link at the bottom):

You can also take a day trip to Parc Astérix or to the beach in Normandy or even to Aix-en-Provence or Avignon: the Avignon theater festival is on right now. Both are only 3 hours away by TGV. There are rock/pop festivals in France in the summer like the Francofolies in La Rochelle right now.

If you're still there on the 21st, Paris Plage will be starting then, with beaches along the river and a concert and gigantic picnic to celebrate the opening of the Paris-Plage 2008 season.

  8. You're in FREAKIN' Europe!  That's what you do there!  Museums, and towers!  Wait!  you haven't gone to any churches?  You need to go to a couple of Churches.  I recommend, in this order:  Notre Dame, Sacré Coeur, and Saint Sulpice, and Saint Chappelle.

Just walk the streets, soak in the atmosphere.  Walk along the Seine, as far as you want to.  Stand on the Pont Neuf.  (take pictures of the Pont Neuf) Peek in windows, and shop.  Stop at any old sidewalk café.  Order something, and sit there for as long as you like, just people watching.  Walk up the Champs Elysées.  Stroll through the formal gardens.  We have NOTHING like that in  the US.

The Catacombs.  You have to see the Catacombs.  And the Sewers.  you can take a tour through the sewers.

Sorry, fun and crazy?  Not part of my travel style.  I am TOTALLY into the history and culture, but I'm sure you can find a disco or a club to go hang out in and get crazy.  If no one here gives you a good one, try asking the front desk person.  They ought to be able to send you in the right direction.

Disney?  Why would anyone go all the way to France (from the US, anyway) to go to Disneyland?

  9. Go to disneyland then. Paris is known for art and culture not crazy stuff to do. Sounds like Paris is a waste of trip on you.

  10. Just walk in the streets, try to speak with french people (they are nicer than you can think), stop in french "cafés" to drink something ... and welcome in Paris !

  11. You should ask in the Cafés to the staff, they will surely know what advice you.

Going in the center of Paris is a good way. Thats the oldest quarter and if you walk in some little street, you can see very old homes

  12. What is it you had in mind?

    Clubs?

    Food?

    A bike tour?

Be more specific and tell us what you want.  All you've told us is what you don't want with out even letting us know what your interests are.

  13. Check out this site below.  It has some great ideas that will let you see the culture and some people other than the general touri.
