  1. Super long hair extensions are said to age people so I'd go with trying to match human hair to your hair colour and length. You could get a hairdresser to cut your clips in while attached to your hair to better suit your style but it may limit you. Either way you'll need to think about how you'll style your hair with clips ins as they can be really obvious. Having hair past the shoulders - hmm depends on how you look now really, a young looking 40 something gets away with much more. I would think shoulder length was a good length for you and maybe you want fuller hair since Duffy is an inspiration and has high volume hair rather than particularly long hair.

Human hair looks more authentic than synthetic.

I'd suggest you go to naturallycurly.com and look at hair types then find yours and go the the appropriate message board - the users there will be able to help you with your questions as they are fellow curlies.

  2. My mum has them

no age doesent matter if you want length or volume in your hair go for it:) and as they are clip you can change your hair for different days!:D  just make sure you get human hair not synthetic! :) x*x

  3. Blonde hairpieces are so hard to match the real colour, you can tell they are false if they arent true to your hair tone. Also plastic ones tend to be straighter than your own hair, and curly extensions tend to go a bit frizzy looking. I think going for clip ons will show you an idea of what your hair will look like longer. I dont think you need to be a certain age to change your hair. Its very glamorous to add volume and style to your hair no matter how old you are. But always ask  your hairdresser for advice, maybe they can find ones that match your hair tone and create a modern style.

  4. No it doesn't matter .There are many suitable ones for all age groups .They can be cut in any style.Go for it with confidence.

  5. s***w the age thing.havent you heard the saying grow old disgracefully, you want hair extensions then go for it, besides you can get some that look very convincing about being real....and Duffy, nope all her I am afraid

  6. I think if you want clip in hair extentions you get em. I have them and they are fantastic mine are real hair so i can straighte, hair dry, curl or if i wish dye them it makes u look instantly glamorous and gives you an instant make over,, I would definately get them mine cost me only £36 includeing the clip which u sew on yourself  i dunno where u live mine were from harlow uk. highly recommended tie your hair up to that looks nice and like u say if u don't fancy wearing them or u go off em just don't clip them in and u hair is still healthy and not coverd in glue

  7. I don't think the is an issue for you to get clip ons as it is not going to be too dissimilar in length. synthetic hair just looks like shite IMO and real hair...well it's like you own. So long as whoever puts it in for you does a good job I'm sure you'll look fine.

  8. sorry babe but the words mutton and lamb come to mind :s x
