Question:

IM TRYING TO BECOME AN AMAZING FIGHTER, I NEED WORKOUTS!!!!

I want to become a fighter because I think I have potential. The other day at a park my friend got in a fight with a football player from my school. The football player is 6 foot something 170 pound, probaly12 percent body, I don't know though. The football player always picks on my friend and other kids, never me Im considered "cool". My friend was loosing badly so I stepped in, and pushed the foot ball player down. When he got up, he came at me, but i did not know what to do since I have never got in a fight before. He punched me right in the nose. But then i felt this anger come out of me, i never felt this way. I grabbed his head, pulled it down and kneed him in the face, then i chocked with one arm, and punched him in the back of the head with the other. He started to punch me in the stomach and try to push me away. But i couldnt feel any of his punches. I felt them but it didnt hurt at all. I continued to punch him, and i choked him harder. It was wierd, becuase at this time my eyes were closed, and i just kept chocking him harder, and punching him harder. Then my friend yelled that i was killing him, and i didnt let go still, my friend had to pull me off. The football player was on his knees with a bloody nose, his face was blue, and he was crying. I started to laugh, because it was wierd to see this hot shot football player crying. So i think i have potential for fighting. Im 5"7 i just need to channel my anger or somthing

130 pounds and 6 percent body fat. I play alot of sports to. Im on a AAA hockey team

  1. Just because you win one fight because you lost your temper does not mean you have fighting potential. You seriously need to learn some self control. You could have killed him and then you'd be in some deep c**p. Real fighting potential would be you staying calm and doing the same thing with control. Like Chris T said, fighters do not channel their anger, they let go of it.


  2. just practise with you freinds and start working out. Lots of pushups and lots of upper body strength. The more you fight the better you will be. Just lots of push ups and weight lifting and ghetto work outing lol. Like if you jus chillin in a park, do some pull ups ya know stuff like that. Or search on youtube 24 hour ghetto workout

  3. chris t is a f@g... just start workin out at a gym.and run alot.. to build up stamina. u can try to find a place to sign up for fighting classes

  4. THis dose not mean you are a good fighter unless the foot ball player was a good fighter. Ifthat kid wins a lot of fights then your a good fighter but being a big foot ball player dose not mean your good at fighting nor dose being big period. If you want to be a fighter though not for fame or forune but cause you like to fight then what you need to do is go find classes. Be it Martail arts or Boxing. The best way to get in shape for fighting is fighting. And more important then being in shape (For now) is learning to fight.......But anyways You need to start doing streching everyday. You need to start doing circuit training and for cardio I reccomend Interval training

  5. I hated that movie Never Back Down it made it look like any punk with anger can fight. Also Kimbo slice too. Fighting takes discipline and respect for yourself and others. If you are serious here is what you should do.

    A great way to channel anger is running. I run a few miles every morning before school. Try to get your mile time in under 6 minutes.

    then your 2 mile time in under 12 min.

    Then do push ups start out wit sets of 20 then do 20 diamond pushups then 20 spiderman pushups. Get good enough to where u can do 1000 in 3 hours.

    Then take boxing, kick boxing, or muay tai. Those all filter out the people who think they can fight and those who are committed

    Lastly. wrestle. I am a wreslter and a footballer. Ive had numerous people from all sports say "wrestlings g*y its 2 guys rubbing each other in spandex" then try one practice and then never talk **** about it again. Wrestling is the best way to channel anger ever but also makes you be composed.

  6. 1. Well done. Never get too angry so that you will not know what you are doing.

    2. I find that blocking has more advantages than most people think. If you are intelligent, you will see how he fights, and wait to exploit it. This does work. Techniques also work. It is quite easy. You wait for the person to throw the punch with a certain hand while keeping him away and blocking. As soon as he uses it, exploit it. It works.I usually block so hard that he turns a bit, I step past him (to the otherside of his punch) and backhand him in the face. This works.

    There is no single good martial arts. Get some karate with bjj or something else with bjj. Then you know what you can do when they have you either way.

    By the way. I am the same. I think it is just adrenaline. Somebody can punch me straight in the face, stomach or wherever and it does not hurt. You feel it, but it does not hurt.

    I am just afraid of actually killing somebody, because if I ever got the guy down on the ground I don't know if I would be able to stop myself.

    Some people are born fighters and some not. That is why for instance,

    2 guys can do karate in the same class, with the same dedication and same amount of years. The one is an excellent fighter, and the other one still can't fight.

  9. Start working out u need core strength, upper body strength and and LOWER BODY unless u expect every fight in ur life not to involve kicks... lol but anyways work on that anger problem cuz if u learn some hardcore martial arts ur gonna go to jail if u knock some guys ACL out or sumthin

  10. This in no way makes you a fighter, it makes you some kid with no skills, who wants to go on some online site, and brag. Fighters don't get angry when they fight, it clouds your mind. Trust me, fight someone whos been doing mma for even a month, and you will for sure be in for a serious beat down. I suggest you stop trying to brag to everyone, and stop trying to get into martial arts, and fighting for the wrong reasons. Reasonable force comes to mind here. Because you beat up some kid, who has no fighting experience, doesn't mean your anything special.
