Question

My parents took me to this doctor, who I never went back to. She said I had something that causes me to be startled an exponential amount more than the average person. I don't remember exactly what she called it, but it was something like "exaggerated shock syndrome". Please help. It's really annoying.

Sounds like something called coprophagia. It&#039;s not too much of a big deal.

An exaggerated startle response is a hallmark symptom of post traumatic stress disorder.

Perhaps this is the symptom to which your doctor was referring.
