NEWBIE SELLER: I've been selling on ebay for a couple of months now and I have been emailing a supplier outside of the UK and they agreed to send me a sample of their product.

In order to send the samples to me in Scotland, the company said that they needed my "courier account number" first-but I don't even know what this "courier account number" is!?! Can someone please help me?

I'm new to all this "seller jargon".

The company also mentioned "freight"-and I don't have a clue what this is!?!? I read an online dictionary and it didn't help...can someone give me a "dummies description" please?

Any help will be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED?!?!

Thanks guys Anna

  1. Smple

courier account is what they refer to as an account you have that they can bill to when sending you item

Freight is the cost of actually sending you the item like a postage stamp only dearer.

Just tell them to send it COD cash on delivery ie you are prepared to pay the cost of shipping and handling.

They will gladly send you samples of products, but they will not pay for them to be sent to you, basically thats what they are saying.

    OK.

just to complicate it you can also have an e-mail courier acct.
