IMVU APs and Name Purchasing?

Hi, everyone. I actually have two quick questions regarding IMVU payment.

• It's said a credit card is needed in order to purchase an Access Pass. Could a Visa Giftcard suffice?

and

• Is it essential to buy your name before buying an Access Pass?

Yes you can use a visa gift card to buy your access pass. They have a

sale going on right now $14.99  + 10,000c.

The one thing you MIGHT have to do is add it to a paypal account and use paypal to buy your access pass. Be careful though you can only use a visa giftcard on paypal one time, as in one time payment for something.

After that they will ask you to verify your account by adding money into your bank, but in this case you are using a visa gift card. So if you plan to buy stuff this way then make sure u use up all the money on the visa card in your first purchase.

Also you DO NOT NEED TO BUY YOUR AVATAR NAME in order to get an access pass. There are many guest users who have access pass and do not own their name.
