IMac Trash can question ?

When i click on " Empty" in the trash can window, are the files that were in there deleted forever? completely off my HD?

  1. They should be. Did you download kiddie p**n or something?


  2. Yes it is completely deleting all the files that were in the trash. Un-like a PC, it still keeps 'a very small amount of information' left in the hardrive. I know this because I am a Mac owner myself. I have a mid-2005 iBook G4.
