IMovie help!!!!!!! if you have a MAC computer... please answer this question!!?

ok well i made a video and i uploaded it on my MacBook Pro. it is now on my desktop. How do I put it on iMovie?

i will need all of the directions.. and i will be soooo happy if you give me the answer.. :] thanks

You have to convert your video to mov or mp4 video at first, then you can add it into iMovie for editing. If you don't know how to convert video, here is a step by step guide for you

It depends on what file format it is in now.

It needs to be .mov ideally or mpeg4.

If it's not use a free converter such as:

http://media-convert.com/

Once it is converted, iMovie will recognise it in File > Import Movies.
