  1. All people everywhere should take risks to better their lives and many do not. Don't blame the people of Egypt in particular for this failing. It is copmmon throughout the world.

We must learn that the government can only take away our rights if we sit down passively and watch them do it. It is difficult and often dangerous to stand up for what you  believe but it is all that makes us truly human.

You are a brave soul. Peace Love and Joy to you on your quest to change your part of the world for the better. I'll work on my part and one day we may meet in the middle.

  2. too many people, less and less jobs. People are mostly supportive of their families, they don't want to risk the welfare of their families. circumstances are not very good for risks i think..

  3. It depends really on the situation itself. One should never risk everything they have just to have a better life. Because achieving a better life doesn't always include risking anything.

We just have to make choices and sacrifices.

  4. this doesnt have to do with Egyptians in general.

it is individual choice made by a single person.

why do you say ''humiliation '' ?

where does humiliation enter the choice ?

i would ask for more than one opinion and choose the one that my heart accepts .

God ordains a specific moment as the one that the life of an individual ends .

this moment will come for sure .

if i can do something to live a better life for the remaining moments in my life , i would do it .

    dying isnt painful .

living is a wonderful thing .

    God decides the end .

  5. I love to take risks that I'm the only one involved, but if somebody else may get affected I don't take the risk, or at least I try to take their approval.

I love this saying "no risk no profit"

I can't know how it feels to have cancer, but I think, I'd do as the doctors recommends, and i'll try consulting as many doctors as i can.

  6. wither we risk our lives or not.. we won't come up with anything, kollo fe geeb el7okoma

  7. for this particular case of your friend: he should never give up his faith in God's mercy. he should seek every path he can see to be a better person and heal his pains.

your question in general about egyptian society: ppl in the west tend to have more risks in their professional life specially. but here the problem is that you can not get recovered easily if those risk turned to be complete failures. due to limited job opportunities and high cost to start your own business again. beside that the absence of adequate educational and health services, bring more financial loads to Egyptians family concerns in order to save money to provide these services for their kids. so risking might lead to family failure as a whole.

we can not say that all egyptians prefer not to risk. they tend to play it safe depending on what kind of degree they have, amount of financial resources they posses. and how much familier are you with the requirment of what you want to do. so what is safe for someone who is working to start his own business is a risk for another one who lack the enough marchent relations to keep his business running.

and this would make some kind of gambling than taking risk. i mean risk is somthing calculated not something vague.

  8. Some people aren't as risky as others but then again if you really want something in life maybe you have no choice but to put a risk to it.

  9. generally i dont like risking lifes

but in this person you know having camcer, he must trust in God willing, if he meant to die in te exact day he'll die weather done the operation or not.. .. its hard to decide anyway...
