IN-N-OUT vs. Any Burger Joint?

I live in the Northeast thus we have no In N Out but in my travels I have had IN N OUT, Jack In The Box and FatBurger to name just a few and I will say that IN N OUT is simply the best burger without question with Jacks #2 and FatB #3.  Burger King and McDs don't even compare.  I wish I had the $$$ to finance a franchise here !!!

I like Fat Burger with:  egg, bacon and avocado, Scrumptuous but not healthy, but it's good man!!!

Get some skinny chili fries with it... scary good!

I've spent many (many, many) years enjoying the food at In-N-Out and wondering just what it is that makes it so dang good. And, I think I've finely figured it out. When you go to a non-chain burger joint you can often find high quality / fresh food prepared by employees that honestly care about the restaurant and it's success (usually because they own it or are at least are part of the family). In-N-Out has done the impossible by expanding to a large chain without sacrificing the "little guy" philosophies, while still giving the customer the benefit of having a consistent experience where-ever they find an In-N-Out. (When you walk into a McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell or Pizza Hut you KNOW what you're gonna get)

At least that's what I think. But regardless of "why" they are the best burger chain out there.

If you ever go to Menlo Park, CA try Brixs it isn't a chain but they have the BEST burgers, fries, and milkshakes.
