  1. A leafy tree covers the land by the leaves. The leaves has some small gaps which act as a pihole camera through which the sunrays can pass and form the small circular images on the ground.  


  2. A large window will give a patch the form of the projected window,  where a small window (pinhole) will show a patch the form of the source, in this case the circular sun.
