IN-WALL SPEAKER TO DEEP, HELP!!!!!

I installed in-wall speakers, they are 1/4inch to deep and are sticking out from the wall about 1/4inch. Is there some type of flush mount or something like that i can get to put around the speaker to make it flush to the wall to fill the 1/4 inch gap? please help, thanks

Cut a piece of foam in the shape of the speaker housing. Craft store should have something. Or, if you have ever seen the backerboard used behind vinyl siding, that would be ideal.
