  1. Anywhere they can!!!! unless of course there is a near by animal shelter that is open and operating  but if not we can always blame "BUSH" for that.

  2. It depends where they are or what kind of animal it is.

  3. They travel to higher grounds, takes longer for them because they dont have cars.

  4. Many animal species migrate to take advantage of global differences of seasonal temperatures to optimise availability of food sources and breeding habitat. These migrations vary among the different groups, but a reason they migrate is to avoid bad weather. Most species of animals build more elaborate nests, which can be cups, domes, plates, beds scrapes, mounds or burrows, dens and such to avoid the bad cliimates. Animals have internal escape functions. If you do not hear the birds singing in the morning then take heed to that warning! Animals will seek shelter where ever and however they can! Under the roof line of homes is a favorite place, under porches, and in the crawl spaces...

  5. Their survival instincts would kick in and they would find what their senses would tell them is the safest place for them to go. This varies for different animals. Sometimes animals senses are mistaken and it doesn't help them, but for some relying on their natural instincts saves their lives.
