Does the car need to be inspected by main roads when i go in to register the car?

  1. All you need from that point of view is a valid roadworthy certificate and the safety certificate. You also need proof of the garaging address i.e. rates notice, tenancy agreement, gas, electricity or landline phone account, acceptable personal ID such as your driver's licence or an 18+ card and proof of 3rd party registration.
