You didn't mention what browser you use, so I'll provide links to web pages that discuss clearing browsing history in these browsers:

If you use Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 1.5, Firefox 2, Opera 9, or Safari 2 as your browser, this link

If you have Firefox 3, click the "Tools" menu bar button, and click on "Clear Private Data..." and only check "Browsing History".  If that doesn't solve your problem, take a look at this:  http://support.mozilla.com/tiki-view_for...

If you have Safari 3,  Click the "History" menu button, and then click "clear all history.
