INDIAN PASSPORT?? Case of Adoption??

Born in 1990 (18+ now) , was adopted when i was 4yrs old. need to submit Birth Certificate as a PROOF of Place of Birth (as born after 26-1-89). Please suggest me the procedure for application of passport. I can't find it anywhere.????

Your adoptive parents need to help you with this one.  If you are adopted, you probably do not have and do not know where to get your original birth certificate.  Your parents will have to advise whether they went through an attorney or an adoption agency to adopt you, or if you are a relative they took in upon death of your parents, or what the deal is.  Without that info, you have nowhere to start to track down your birth certificate.

There is every possibility that you will not be able to obtain your original birth certificate and get a passport.  Plan on remaining in your own country.
