INMATE's good time credits?

is it true that inmates can get good time credits if the prison is overcrowded? In texas do they still do good time credits?....How do you know.../what website did you get it from?

  1. I know about Oklahoma.  Maybe close to the way they operate in Texas. Okla- coma has a level system. 1-4. And at each level you receive a different about of good time. Level one - o , Level 2 - one day equals two, Level three, one day and Level 4 I believe -  one day equals three days off your sentence. The prisons across the country are maxed out, and until they change some of the laws and quit building more prisons there will always be the problem of over crowding. And with over crowding - for a lot of people that means early release. I hope this helps.
