ok. I have to et 40 different leaves, and put them in a photo album for a major test grade here they are don't describe what they look like, just email me pics or gimme a link plz

  1. In answering your question, the project is not insane.  It is a little extreme, but it is not insane.  Good luck.  I did this with a set of books.  I wasn't 40 trees either.


  2. It's not insane, every high school requries this.  It wasn't hard at all, just go to the library get out a book in tree identification and go out into the woods. The hardest would be a ginko tree, those don't grow by us, but I got one from a plant nursery.  They didn't mind one leaf being taken.

    Actually, if you go to any plant nursery you have the trees all identified FOR you, for a large chunk of them. But ask permission first before pulling leaves off.

    I'm not sure you can find Holly or black cherry if you live in the wrong area.  Or pecan, peach and some of the oaks--those are regional trees.

    What's hard is the collections of insects, when you get to those you'll need to be looking for several weeks to find bugs, not do it all in one afternoon like with the trees.
