  1. If you are an itelligent person and work hard it's not that bad. The acutal work is just as hard as any other classes you will get yourself into in high school. The only difference is that they pretty much control your schedule and what classes you take. You would be put on an accelarated program where they get you through more classes and credits than other kids do. Between having to get all your credits to graduate from ib and high school you will really only have 1 class that you really have a choice to pick for whatever you want.

So in short, it's not that much different than regular high school and the advanced classes that you could normally take. The only difference is your schedule.

If you are interested in the ib program I would say go for it. You should have no problem even with going on the "holz" (i think you meant holidays?) lol. You can get up to a year of college classes out of the way so it's worth it. I'm sure you have heard of all the benfits for it though.

  2. I took I B as well.... Personally I love it... it is sort of like a mini college where you can pick a few majors and a few minors. With I B, you can really focus on the subject areas you are more interested in and get the best out of High School. I major in Music, Design Technology and Business and minor in Math, English and Mandarin as a second language. They also offer Higher Classes which is at the same level as AP classes. There are a lot of options out there... and it Really is an all-rounded education. I highly recommended it. I now have a Master's Degree and am a certified Music Teacher at a Public High School In Massachusetts.

    Good Luck
