  4. There&#039;s actually two inverse functions for this problem.

    y=sqrt(x) and y=-sqrt(x)

    The invariant in this case is the vertex, as it does not change, despite the graph being rotated 90 degrees to the right.

    ok, by inversing it, change y into x, &amp; x into y

    i.e: x = y^(2)

    making finding the eqn of y = ~~~~~~~~~~

    square root (x) = y

    therefore

    y = (+ or -)x^(0.5)
