INdex.dat causing bail-out of HDD Back-up I am trying to take a back-up of my HDD using a Freecom

I am trying to take a back-up of my HDD using a Freecom 120BG External Hard Disk Drive. Model number: FHD-2 Pro. When the device finds a index.dat file it stops updating my files on my external hard drive. Is there any way I can get around this problem?
