Alright my sister is being a little girl and she made her self a computer administrator so no one can delete her account. Is there anyway since i have a computer in my room to get her ip address from mine and shut it down remotely?

  1. Well, assuming you are on a network together, you can get her ip by using varrious commands in a command prompt. Shutting down remotely is really tough though, becasue she probably has a firewall, and the progrmas you may find for shutting down remotely are most frequently used for servers in commercials businesses. a better thing to do would be something like disabling her account, or changing her accout name. Or, if you were really sneaky, you could use Knoppik (www.knopper.net) which is my favourite thing on earth, (im an IT guy) and delete her accoutn all together. good luck, but thats a tough one.

  2. If you are having to ask how to do this (especially on Yahoo answers), then it will probably be a little too difficult for you. But just because she has an administrator account does not mean that hers cannot be deleted. get on that computer with another administrator account and it can be done. If she "made" herself an administrator, then there is at least 1 other admin account on that computer. But you are still trying to use a simple hack, which although it is simple by hacking standards, it is a little harder than what you are probably ready to handle.... And to the guy from the last post... the program is knoppix not knoppik and that is a Linux Live OS ... so you would still have to know what you are doing to use it.
