  1. Get some scanners from the internet to scan those IPs.

LanHelper is capable of getting SNMP data on scanning. You can get the result when scanning complete.

  2. Its the second one, but first your computer has to be connected to router, ethernet cable not work

  3. Hm.. try..

    192.168.10.0

    192.168.10.1

if that doesn't work go to Start->Run ..then type "cmd"

The command prompt should be open, in the prompt, type "ipconfig /all" and it'll list information about your networking hardware.

Look for you Wireless Adapter and your Router's IP address should be listed under "Default Gateway"

  4. to figure this out go to start the run and type in CMD if you are using windows 2000, XP, or Vista and press enter and type in ipconfig it will show some numbers, your default gateway is the router's ip address.

  5. Firstly the router needs to be HARDWIRED or physically connected with the computer(ethernet/usb/power cord) from where you are trying to configure your router. So if you are trying to configure your modem through your laptop ...connect the router woth the laptop using a ethernet  or usb lan cable and configure your router after configuring you  are set to use it wirelessly.

192.168.0.1 seem to work......make sure you have connected the router(ethernet/usb/power cord). make sure its ON and all the drivers associated with you router have been installed. Do you see a small icon on the bottom right handside blinking/or with an exclamation mark. right click on >go to status> general>properties> go and highlight  Internet protocol ( TCP/IP) click on properties and now put the

click on use the following ip address

IP address as 192.168.0.6 or 192.168.1.6

    default gateway as 192.168.0.1

    subnet mask as 255.255.255.0

put DNS assosiated with your router or isp.

    you are all set.

Alternatively you can try and go to Router user Interface.   by opening  your Internet browser (IE/Firefox/Opera etc) and just put this IP on address bar

    192.168.0.1

    hit enter

put user name as admin and leave password blank or put in admin or put in "password" without quotes.

you would be inside you router settings and from there you can change all the settings

Go to manual config - select the 'Static IP' option and put in your connection details (IP, Subnet, DNS). Go to the security settings and select WEP / WPA / WPA2 (choose any). Remove the ethernet cable from router and laptop and stick your ISP one into the Internet port on the router. Make sure you save them and power cycle the router. Configure the wireless network connection in your OS. Done!

    hope this helps

ps you can also check you default gateway as mentioned by ppl above only if your router is hardwired,,,,otherwise you would get media disconnected.
