IP settings always offline or always go offline?!?

even when i click them back online they go off by itself again! why is this? its really annoying!

Are you using a wireless router, is the IP connection type set on automatic (DHCP)

IP settings aren't on line or off line, they're just there.  If you mean that your browser goes off line even if you tell it to go on line, it's because the computer doesn't have an internet connection.  the wire may be there, but the computer isn't seeing the internet.  without knowing what equipment you have, no one can even guess at what the problem is.
