IPAQ's and GPS?

Question

I live in the UK and have seen an advert on the local adboard where someone is selling a HP IPAQ with a GPS device and Tom Tom navigator for a really reasonable price.

I've seen people use GPS programs on their IPAQ before, but before I pay out, I wanted to know if anyone on this board has one, and if you have to pay a subscription to Tom Tom? (I'm not sure - the person I saw with it before had a hacked version?)

Is it worth buying this? Or should I buy GPS and IPAQ seprerately?

I own an IPAQ.  WITHOUT GPS.

Do yourself (and your sanity!) a favor.

Just get a smart phone with PDA Capability built in.

And GPS Separately.

Total waste of money.  I'm ready to throw mine AWAY I hate it so much.

Keep them separate.  Then if one breaks you don't loose the other one.
