IPHONE PLEASE HELP!?

How do I add music to my IPHONE 3G?

I recently purchased a IPHONE. I want to add music to it but when I plug it in it doesn't show up on my computer as an icon. Why is this? How do I add music? Is it just like the Ipod? drag and drop. Or do I have to synch it?

drag and dropinto the iphone, then synch it

u first have to download itunes. then u drag music files into itunes. then u sync the iphone with the itunes account and all the music files u have dragged into the itunes are now in your iphone.
