IPL 4 – Ishant Sharma feels he still has a long way to go

Sharma, who played a pivotal role in his team’s convincing 55-run victory against Kochi outfit on Wednesday, expressed that he has not yet thought of being selected for the national side.
Replying about whether his superb burst of fast bowling last night would help him land a place in the Indian side, Sharma said, “Well, there is still a long way to for me. I don`t think about the selection at all."

Sharma’s figures read an incredible 5 for 12 while Jayawardene and company were 11 for 6 after the first four overs.
Sharma harassed the Kerala batsmen with both seam and bounce while Sangakkara made no mistakes behind the stumps.
It was Sharma’s first five-wicket haul and the third best figures produced by any bowler in the history of IPL.
The gangly pacer shared that since being dropped from the Indian national team, he has been working extremely hard to get back in rhythm.
"Preparations are obviously there. I have been working hard, focusing on my bowling especially on the technical bit," Sharma uttered.
Meanwhile, Sharma thanked his friend and Indian pacer, Zaheer Khan for helping him regain his form.
“I need to say thanks to Zaheer Khan because he told me to keep working hard on my fitness. Working with him is really tremendous for me," added the Indian speedstar.
The Kochi Tuskers were dismal against the Deccan Chargers with six of their batsmen going out for a duck.
