Just wodering!!! How can IPL franchise owners find money from their teams???

As per the revenue shareement agreement of IPL the franchises will receive 80% of the television revenue over the first two years, 70% in the third and fourth years, 60% between years five and ten, and 50% from the 11th year onwards. In addition, they will also receive 60% of the sponsorship revenue during the first ten years, after which they will receive 50%.

Of the total amount to be distributed, 20% will be divided based on the final league positions of the franchises while the other 80% will be shared squally.

Further they will also be benefitted from gate collection and team sponsorship.

Advertisement, the money which they got from there position in the league, selling merchandise such as shirts etc  and tickets.

SRK-KKR raked in the maximum out of all the teams thi year even before the Semis.

I think the amount was 280 Crores.

It is from sale of tickets, Sponsors, sale of T-s and such.

They did well in the way they took their business but lost on the field.

1. Advertisement/Sponsorship like pepsi,coke,vodafone etc.

2.Ticket and Merchandise revenue.
