do IPL change all cricket fan to stick to watch only 20over game in future?

I beleive IPL would have a significant impact on the way, people follow, like and admire cricket.

There will be a clear classification of real (test) cricket fans and the people who like circus (Twenty20) cricket ...

Their scheme seem to be like that....

all the promoters are bollywood actors & actresses so pple will c 20-20 matches.....

Even , after this people will be more interested in T20 matches not in 50 overs.....

yes, no doubt it will help popularize cricket world wide. Especially when considering non-test playing countries. That could be a great advantage & if properly used it could help even spread 50 over cricket at these non-test playing countries.

However, as far as test-playing countries go although there will no doubt be an interest in twenty20 cricket many will still prefer test cricket & ODI formats as well. At least the purists will still follow test cricket. And I believe as long as people are still passionate about cricket test cricket will survive. It has stood the test of time , it survived  the Kerry Packer revolution & it will survive the twenty20 revolution as well. At the end of the day it's all about the passion and not just how much money you can make. As long as people have that passion test cricket will survive.

there  will be new cricketing countries who play only T20s

not tests  or ODIs,coz T20 is less time consuming and faster

and hence followed there.

oai mates look IPL is somethin where every one will group together to play as a part of a team. It does't matter wheather it is sachin tandulkar, brett lee, chaminda Vass or Shoaib Akther. This is what we call harmony in cricket. Now yous might think of money you are getting all those great matches to watch and players are gettin the money they deserve and sponsers  are helping too that's it might nice and simple ha.
