“IPL is like rock music. It's rocking the nation," said Sidhu.
The cricketer turned politician, during the launching ceremony of his new program “Extra Innings T20”, said that the IPL is the most striking event of the world of cricket as it attracts the world’s best players. Sidhu further compared the event with the
simplest and easiest acquisition of delicious food at home which is earned without dropping sweat in kitchen.
"IPL is a different product, it's a changing time. IPL is like the shining sun of world cricket” he said.
The 48-year-old witty commentator heaped praised on the organizers, who are making special efforts to improve the event every year, giving the fans the best entertainment they can get.
“To make a good name is easy but to sustain it's different. IPL is sustaining as it has moved the world and brought pride back to India. It has changed cricket governance and administration," he said.
The inaugural competition took place in 2007, which was won by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajasthan-c837 Royals. This term, nine teams will participate in the tournament, featuring a perfect blend of local and international players, who will battle for the top honours in a two-month grueling
period.
