http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians are back on the winning track, as they romped over Kings XI Punjab in the 33rd game of Indian Premier League played on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
It was a nail-biting finish at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833 Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali, which MI managed to win by four wickets, courtesy some meaty blows from the hard hitting batsman Ambati Rayudu.
The 26-year-old cricketer from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andhra-c764 Pradesh smashed 34 runs at the strike-rate of 200, and was declared Player of the Match. Rayudu had a plan for his innings which he executed with perfection.
At the post match presentation, Rayudu said, “When I went in I thought even if I took only singles in the first 8-9 balls, I could accelerate later.”
MI has been experimenting with their batting line-up. Rayudu hasn’t had a permanent batting slot, he has been used as a make shift opener in some matches while in other he has batted in the middle-order.
The right-hander is enjoying this flexibility in the MI batting order and believes that it is making him a better batsman.
He said, “I'm getting used to batting at every number, which is helping us.”
Rayudu also took the moment to thank his mentor and MI teammate http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556, who has returned to MI ranks after missing four games due to a finger injury.

berserk in the penultimate over and scored 27 runs, which changed the complexion of the game altogether.
