David Warner, Australian cricketer, is keen on filling the vacant space created in the Delhi Daredevils squad by the departure of their star batsman, Kevin Pietersen.
Daredevils are currently at the top of Indian Premier League (IPL5) points table. The Delhi based franchise has won eight of their ten fixtures and Pietersen played a key role in those wins.
Hoping to emulate Pietersen’s performance, Warner said, “Kevin played well while he was here and did a fantastic job for the boys. I hope I can fill up his spot and help our team to keep the number one spot.”
Pietersen, who has been in magnificent form for Delhi Daredevils this season scoring 305 runs at an average of 61, had to leave his IPL franchise half-way through the season, as he was called for national

Warner’s story, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. The left-hander missed first half of season, as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 was touring the West Indies.
The sturdy batter is delighted to be back at a time when the team is on a roll and vows to do his best for the team’s interest.
Warner said, “Things are going really well, it's a good opportunity for me to come in while the team is going well. I'll keep executing my skill and help the team as much as I can.”

skipper and opening batsman, at top of the order.
Jayawardene may very well go back to his original position in the middle order, with the return of Warner. However, it is left to be seen what Delhi’s team management decides.
