IPL5: Mumbai Indians V Chennai Super Kings – Toss Report – http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453 opts to field on a fresh Wankhede track
The Mumbai Indians skipper Harbhajan Singh has won the toss and opted to field first in their return leg Indian Premier League match against defending champions, Chennai Super Kings, starting shortly at the Wankhede Stadium, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820.
Speaking to the commentators before the toss, the home skipper said that it was a big game for them and urged the side to play good against the two time IPL champions.
“Its s big game for us. Chennai is a good team and hopefully we play good against them today,” Harbhajan told cricketer turned commentator http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ravishankar-Jayadritha-Shastri-c84254 at the toss.
Asked about his team’s fitness level, Bhajji said that all the players are fit and hoped they will deliver the same performance as they did during the IPL-V curtain raiser earlier last month.
About his decision to bowl first, the turbanator said that he was uncertain how the fresh Wankhede track would play.
MS Dhoni said that he would have also opted to bowl  first, had he won the toss, reason being the unpredictable playing conditions.
Going by the Mumbai wicket, the hosts made a couple of changes to their playing XI from previous match.  The left-arm spinner http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 import Dwayne Smith comes in for Sri Lankan Thisara Perera
in the middle of the order.
Chennai Super Kings, on the other hand, fielded an unchanged line-up, though the visiting skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 admitted himself and middle order batsman Suresh Raina were not fully fit.
When asked  about his team’s performance so far in the tournament, the Ranchi wicketkeeper batsman said that they have been a bit consistent this season, especially at home, adding that with 5 or 6 games to go, it is the right time to peak.
