Bangalore skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DL-Vettori-c1384, was thrilled with the victory. The New Zealander lauded the all-round performance of his side.
At the match presentation, Vettori said, “Good all-round performance. It was a tricky wicket and a bit up and down but http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Allan-Robert-Border-c43726 and Vinay's partnership was a huge boost for us. 158 was going to be tough to defend. We wanted to bowl tight
lines and we did that well.”
RCB were forced to bat first by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739, who opted to field after winning the toss.

The South African international continued his good run with the bat and played an unbeaten knock of 64 as RCB posted 157 for the loss of eight wickets.
The right-handed basher said, “New Zealand tour was good and I'm just trying to carry on. I like the energy on the field, we have some youngsters and a lot of experience as well.”
Batting proved to be the weak link in Delhi’s side this time around. The skipper of Daredevils rued the lack of partnerships in the middle phase of the innings; however, Sehwag remained positive about the team’s prospects in the
upcoming games, as certain key figures are bound to return.
He said, “We lacked partnerships in the middle overs. There are still 14 games to go and 2 of our best players who would return would boost the team up.”
