“Broad's absence will be a big loss,” said Gilchrist. “He is a world-class bowler, a world-class all-rounder and a terrific person. We would have liked to have him here, but he's not. The simple fact is that we have got to move on.”
Broad’s cricketing career has been plagued with injuries. The lanky pacer was due to take part in IPL4, for Punjab last year but could not play due to a side strain.
Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, need to sort out things pretty quickly especially at the top of the order, as they have lost both of their opening fixtures against the Rajasthan Royals and the Pune http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warriors-c861.
Gilchrist and his boys will be back in action against the Warriors on Thursday, April 12 at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. The match on Thursday will be Punjab’s first home game of the tournament and Gilchrist wants to start the home campaign
