The Telegraph, said that Narine is successful in IPL5 because he always stays one step ahead of the batsmen.
Terming the West Indies born spinner as an unbelievable talent, Bayliss said, “The more batsmen play, they pick him better, but Narine has it in him to stay one step ahead. He's such an unbelievable talent.”
Narine, the right-arm off-spinner from Trinidad, has bagged 21 wickets in the tournament so far. The 23-year-old is the joint leading wicket-taker of IPL5, along with South Africa’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/M-Morkel-c73528 and Sri

Bayliss held that Narine is a mystery bowler and always keeps the batsmen guessing by variation in his bowling speed. The former cricketer turned coach, was also impressed with the accuracy of the off-spinner,
who has maintained an economy rate of 5.25 in IPL5 from 12 games.
“He is one of the mystery spinners. That, combined with accuracy and a bit of extra pace, has made him more than a handful. Even if you're lucky to pick the ball , there's no guarantee that you'll get him
away,” the Australian said.
The ongoing season of IPL is the first time Narine is taking part in the lucrative league. The off-spinner, who was signed for a sum of $700,000, has proved to be the most profitable signing for Kolkata
Knight Riders in this season.
Bayliss had heard about Narine during the Champions League Twenty20 tournament and believing the hype created by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-South-Wales-c823 players signed the West Indian cricketer. The head coach of Kolkata seemed
happy that Narine has dovetailed perfectly with the rest of the KKR squad.
Bayliss said, “I can't remember who brought up his name, but I remembered the New South Wales players had been very impressed with him in the CLT20. As it turns out, Narine has fitted into the group very
well and it's a pleasure to see him bowl.”
