Who else can claim the honor of plundering maximum number of sixes other than Orange Cap holder http://www.senore.com/Cricket/CH-Gayle-c1221? The explosive Royal Challengers Bangalore opener struck 59 lofty sixes during 14 whirlwind innings. His tally of 733 runs also included 46 fours.

Fairplay Award:
The Rajasthan Royals' skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/R-Dravid-c2229, received the Fairplay award for his admirable conduct on the field, as a cricketer, as a skipper and as an ambassador of the sport. Given the number of controversies that sparked during the tournament, Dravid

The 39-year-old Indore batsman led the Royals from the front all through the league and with a tally of 462 runs from 16 innings at a strike rate over 112, finished as the second highest run getter for Rajasthan, and the seventh overall.
Player of the Season:
