IPL5: We have the best team in the IPL - Manvinder Bisla - Cricket News Update
The Kolkata Knight Riders' wicketkeeper, Manvinder Bisla, is not reading too much into his side’s 22-run defeat at the hands of the Rajasthan Royals in the first leg of IPL5, as both the outfits are gearing up for yet another encounter,
this time at Kolkata’s home ground, the Eden Gardens, on Friday, April 13, 2012.
After losing the opening two games of the season convincingly to the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rajasthan-c837 Royals, Shah Rukh Khan’s Knight Riders made an imposing turnaround, scripting a 42-run victory over the Royal Challengers Bangalore
in their last IPL fixture at home.
Bisla, the 27-year-old Haryana born wicketkeeper batsman, said that last week’s 22-run loss to Rajasthan will not be on their mind going into Friday’s match rather they will carry the winning momentum into the crunch game.
While speaking to media reporters on the eve of the match, the wicketkeeper batsman said that they have the best team in the tournament, and the players are high on confidence ahead of the Rajasthan game.
"We have the best team in the IPL. We have the belief to win on our ground," said the 27-year-old Haryana-born gloveman.
Batting has been the major concern for Gambhir in all three IPL games so far. Bisla, who blazed away 46 runs in KKR’s 42-run win over the Royal Challengers on Tuesday, admitted that their batting has been below par so far in the
tournament. However he hopes that their middle order, featuring the likes of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RN-ten-Doeschate-c2338, clicks for Friday’s match.
"We are losing some crucial wickets. It's happening regularly. We have the batsmen and ability to deal with this," said the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BB-McCullum-c1129 behind the stumps in the last game.
"Brendon is a superb player, a good human being. He is helping me out. I know I will get a chance sooner or later. It's a team management's decision,” he added further.
KKR go into the match at the back of a win while the Rajasthan Royals have won two of their last three matches.
