I download movies from the web and convert them into ipod format but when i drag into the movie category on the ipod nothing happens whats wrong.........10 pt ;)

There are different codects of mp4. I'll bet that you just converted to the wrong cofec. whatever converter you used probably converts to other formats. if you have one that says Zune mp4 that will work. if you picked a format that says ipod touch mp4 or ipodnano mp4 then the format may not work. try different formats.
